A new video by Leo Linbeck III explores the root of these current political and societal problems in America by addressing this simple question: Who has decision making authority? The answer to many problems facing our country is empowering decision-makers at the most local level possible. Linbeck argues, "What we decide is not as important as who decides it." Federalism is about bringing decision-making to the local level. It's not just a topic for a civics class; it's a principle that can help address some of the fundamental and systematic problems we face today.
